Publis Ovidius Naso was born onthisday 20th march 43 B.C. and died in 17/18 A.D. Unknown, he was remembered as Ovid. Ovid was a Roman poet who lived during the life of Augustus. He was a contemporary of Horace and Virgil. He was ranked as one of the three canonical poets of Latin literature. Ovid enjoyed the popularity he gained. Ovid was sent to Augusts in which he was exiled and relocated to the black sea where he was to remained until his death…
