Senioritis–the infamous psychological disease that all high school seniors become infected with when graduation is nearing. This is my personal definition I have created based on observation and personal experience. Of course, not everyone, specifically teachers and parents, believe in this phenomenon. No, it has not been researched by scientists or studied by psychologists. However, a legitimate definition does exist on Google. (So, if it’s on the internet, that means it’s true, right?)

  • a supposed affliction of students in their final year of high school or college, characterized by a decline in motivation or performance.

Now, as a high school senior who has diagnosed herself with this vicious illness, I have compiled a list of symptoms of Senioritis that perhaps you or a loved one will identify with.
